Veterinary Surgery & Radiology

The Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology is full-fledged department with all modern and latest instruments and appliances. The main mandate of departments is for teaching and research in various disciplines of the subject viz. general surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology, orthopedics and experimental surgery. The teaching programme of the department have been planned to provide effective practical training to the undergraduate students. Apart from offering courses to the students of B.V.Sc. & A.H, degree as per curriculum of VCI. The faculty members collaborate with the Veterinary Clinical Complex for internship programme and to offer clinical practice courses to the undergraduate students. The Department is equipped with all types of facilities of management of surgical affections of the livestock and pet animals and has well equipped small and large animal operation theatres for routine as well as specialized surgical procedures. Apart from this department have x-ray, physiotherapy endoscopy and ECG and ultrasound facilities.
