The department is engaged in teaching undergraduate courses related to livestock products technology to B.V.Sc. & A.H. students as per curriculum of VCI. The department has laboratories infrastructure facilities in the area of Meat technology, Dairy technology. Some of equipments available are butter churners, cream separator, meat mincing machine, scalding tank, electrical stunning device etc. Department is also engaged in imparting training to farmers and livestock owners in area of hygienic milk production, meat and milk processing quality control and value addition of milk and meat products.
