About Society

Keeping in view the growing need of educational opportunities for youth to develop them into responsible citizens as a national resource and their exposure to contemporary circumstances, M.R. Rural Education Society was established as a body registered in Haryana in the year 1994.

The basic objective of the society is to provide educational opportunities to the masses who are more creative and innovative in their thinking, skilled in using and applying new information and communication technologies to their best advantage.
The society with its concerted efforts has been able to establish itself remarkably in enhancing the educational managerial and cultural attributes of an individual, through it educational institutes including schools, B.Ed. college and VLDD college over the period as per need of the society.

To achieve its core objective of promotion and progress of agriculture and animal husbandry, a proposal was initiated to establish M.R.College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre at Hassanpur, Teh. & Distt. Jhajjar, in the year 2020 with the idea to protect the health and production of animals of poor farmers and to produce quality professionals in veterinary field.

With the concerted efforts of management of M.R. Rural Education Society and staff of the college a golden feather has been added to glorious cap of the society, in the form of M.R. College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre, affiliated to world class university of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar and duly approved by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), Govt. of India for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H. program from session 2021-22.
