Veterinary Animal Husbandry and Extension Education

This department is engaged in teaching the students of B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Third Professional Year) as per prescribed curriculum of VCI to train them with extension methodologies for better diffusion of newer researches among livestock owners. To impart the quality education and overall development of students, department conduct technical and entrepreneurship programme to ensure the knowledge and leadership qualities.

Besides it also lays emphasis on the overall development of students by giving exposure such as conducting farm visit, organising veterinary extension camps in nearby villages, where in pamphlets, leaflets and posters are distributed to educate the farmers from time to time that may add enhance their skills, increase productivity provide them with more employment opportunities and to make them economically sound.
