Message From The Chairman

First of all, welcome to new and innovative initiative started on the basis of need of the hour. MR Rural Education Society was established, in year 1993 by a group of learned and socially concerned people to provide quality education both general or technical with a view to gear up prevailing educational avenues into a center of excellence.

Therefore, we have taken steps to establish, M. R, College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre (MRCVS & RC) which is duly approved by state govt. and affiliated to Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar. The MRCVS & RC is situated at Hassanpur Teh. & Distt. Jhajjar just 10 kms from Jhajjar district head quarter in a peaceful and natural green environmental surroundings. The location is having its own importance as it is just 50 kms far from New Delhi and situated in National Capital Region.

It’s my immense pleasure to share with you that M.R. Group of Institutions has established the college for providing Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.& AH) in district Jhajjar to provide quality education in the field of veterinary sciences. Needless to mention here, that the successful graduates of the course will avail variety of employment opportunities besides self-employment. As you all are well aware that the role of livestock in rural economy has acquired a greater significance mainly because of decreasing land holdings. However, this requires well-being of the livestock by means of good livestock management practices and competent animal health care. Our aim is an attempt to fulfill the gap to some extent between the demand and supply of skilled human resource.

It will not be out of place to mention here that MRCVS & RC consists of modern buildings, well equipped laboratories and residential accommodation for the students and the faculty. The Veterinary Clinic is also well equipped with modern and essential facilities besides a Livestock Farm is also functional which involves the students in all aspects of animal rearing.

I hope that our institution will go a long way in providing community awakened skilled human resource besides creating awareness about useful and latest development in livestock management and treatment among farmers of the area.
