Message From The Managing Director

To meet the demand and supply of veterinarians and para-veterinarians and provide the highest quality facilities in the field of animal husbandry and veterinary sciences, we have taken steps to establish, M.R. College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre (MRCVS & RC) which is duly approved by Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and affiliated to Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar. The MRCVS & RC is situated at Hassanpur Teh. & Distt. Jhajjar just 10 kms from Jhajjar district in a peaceful and natural green environmental surroundings. The location is having its own importance as it is just 50 kms far from New Delhi and situated in National Capital Region and is home to world-renowned Murrah buffaloes also called Black Gold.

As we know that in our country Agriculture and Animal Husbandry are the main contributors to livelihood of small and marginal farmers. In the present scenario of decreasing land holdings role of livestock has become very important and loss of even one productive animal of farmer, lands him in financial problem as well as difficult livelihood. With this idea to protect the health and production of animals of poor farmers, MRCVS & RC has been established to produce quality professionals in veterinary field. I have immense pleasure in welcoming you to M.R. College of Veterinary Science and Research Centre a highly progressive and enterprising institute pledged to provide quality education with great emphasis on traditional values. Besides academic excellence, the college is committed to including in all its students, strong ethical values of integrity, politeness, kindness and respect for elders. I firmly believe that education should foster confidence, discipline, clarity in thoughts and decision making ability to set and achieve goals and about all college responsibilities as a life-long process. M.R.
