Animal Nutrition

The department offers undergraduate education in the field of animal nutrition including various aspects of energy and protein requirement for better animal production in terms of growth. The department is full-fledged with human resources, infrastructure and laboratory facilities. The laboratory contains all the instruments, apparatus, glassware and chemical required for undergraduate classes.

The department has different laboratories for feed and fodder analysis and energy metabolism. Modern apparatus like hot air oven, muffle furnace, desicator, kjeldhals digestion system, Soxhlet apparatus and water bath are available for teaching students.
