Livestock Production Management

The Department of Livestock Production Management is one of the major parts of the animal sciences department. The department is involved in the teaching of Diploma and Undergraduate courses. Besides this, the department conducted training programs and provided technical guidance to the farmers through different extension activities, radio, and T.V. programs. The department has established a breed museum with good photo photographs and three-dimensional models of important breeds, and housing models of various species of livestock including cattle, buffalo, sheep, goat, swine, rabbit and horse.
