Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology

Department offers undergraduate courses to students preparing for B.V.Sc. & A.H. course. The courses of study relates to mechanism of action and therapeutic and adverse effects of drugs in animals. Students are given knowledge to select and prescribe a drug for treatment of animals.

The department is having well equipped laboratories of Pharmacy, Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology. Some of the major equipments which are available in the laboratories are Spectroflurometer , Spectrophotometer, hot cold plate, anal gesiometer, rota rod, rotary vacuum evaporator, biosafety cabinet etc.
